"A surprise birthday
party was held for Gonzalo Ramirez, tanguero, at the Royal Selangor
Golf Club on 11th January, 2005. Cheng Bee Wah, the instigator
and coordinator managed to get KC & Ida, Teyo, Betty, Lale, Christophe
and yours truly at very short notice. Bee Wah provided the cake
and the rest chipped in with bottles of wine. Many bottles were
consumed by the few of us in the celebration of Gonzalo's special
day. As evident from the pictorial essay, all of us got happier
and more silly as the evening wore on. We had wonderful tango,
barefoot and in socks for Gonzalo and Lale!"
